1st day
Arrived at Hong Kong international airport on CX710 around 12pm. well? Got our lugguages and were tranferred to our hotel.later(much later actually)went for dinner with my cousins from HK. Haven'nt seen them since last dec(that's a looong time)After dinner they actually accompanied us back to the hotel. And it was 10pm.Quite late I must say but still had lots of fun with them.
2nd day
There was the city tour today. First stop was Repulse Bay. Took a few pics there too. Really scenic for a beach but could'nt swim there cause it was well below 15 degrees. =( Went to the aberdeen next where we sat on a boat ride. And it was on board the coach again for lunch before going to board the ngong ping skyrail at lantau island. Took the 30min ride and arrived at the other side of lantau island. After exploring the village(which was actually a shopping area ^.^),we went to take another cable car back. Fourth stop was avenue of stars. It's actually a collection of handprints of movie stars and pioneers of the Hong Kong movie industry. Later went for dinner at a japanese restaurant then went to watch the A Symphony of Lights show at 8pm. It's a spectacle of lights on the key buildings of victoria harbour. Really was impressed cause the lights were beautiful. Walked around for awhile before going back to our hotel on MTR. But in the end, me and my mum were lost. And we went around asking for directions. Hahas. Actually it was'nt really a problem for us cause both of us speak cantonese. Finally(yes, finally) we found our way back to our hotel.
3rd day
The best day in the whole trip. Went to Hong Kong Disneyland today! After admission, went to main street USA where there were vintage shops selling mostly mickey and minnie stuff but mostly could buy those cause it was definitely too expensive. Then proceeded to tomorrowland to take all those futuristic rides. First took the orbitron ride. Was'nt much of a thrill actually and it was rather slow. Then took the space mountain ride. Was slow at first and suddenly it went faster and faster. And it had lots of jerks and sudden turns. D= The buzz lightyear astro blasters was next. Really enjoyed it cause all we had to do was to sit in the space shuttle and shoot UFOs. Hahas=)
After that we went to adventureland and took the river cruise along the river of adventure. Saw lots of crocs and a shark. Not to mention the cannibals. Later went by the tarzan's treehouse but did'nt explore that.
Next we went to my fave, fantasyland.Walked through the sleeping beauty castle then went to take a boat in It's a Small World.
Then stopped for lunch at the royal banquet hall before going to the pooh ride. We sat in those cute hunny pots and went about pooh's world =)Went to watch a 3D flim next and then sat in the cinderella carousel. Then went to mickey's house and took a pic with him. yays. Then went to visit stitch at his spaceship and went for the Let It Snow parade in the evening. And it was 'snowing' after that. lols. After that we went to the golden mickeys which was a musical (yes, musical)celebration of disney's flims. Then at 8pm there was the fireworks display at the sleeping beauty castle. Well, which after that was time to go back to the hotel.
4th day
Hmm..Went to ocean park today. Had some fun in the kids corner and panda enclosure before sitting the cable car to the other side of the park.The cable car ride was really scary cause it stopped in midair! Apparently there were some glitches but soon it was all fixed and off we went.Hahas. Then went to the Atoll Reef where there were a huge aquarium. A lil bit like our Sentosa's underwater world but even better cause it's much much bigger. Later went to the cafe for lunch before going to explore the rest of the park. Started with the ferris wheel. Liked it lots cause its really slow. Really wanted to take the other rides but they were out of bounds for me. Then decided to go on to the ocean park tower. We could see the entire park when the capsule reached the highest point! Went to the pacific pier next to see the seals. Cute but all of the seals seemed to be resting. Hmm.Then we went to the ocean theatre for some performances but it was all similar to what we have in our Singapore zoo. Then we just walked aroung for awhile since there were nothing else for us to do and we definitely don'nt want to try out the thrilling high-speed coasters. Went back to the hotel after that ^.^
5th day
The last day today. Hmm. Went to meet more friends today and went to ladies's market in tung choi street. Did a lil shopping there but did'nt buy much. And later went to a HK cafe for lunch. Then went back to the hotel to check out before going to the airport at 6.30pm. Boarded the plane a hour later and took a 4 hour flight back. =)
